Quiz link directory and submission - newly added

Time to report on my struggle for kicking and keeping my quiz community alive.

There are a lot of obstacles and enimies out there. I find my self in a multi-functional role, trying to develop 1st-quiz.com. This week I have experienced a user creation feature, that failed - one of my collegues told me. No wonder there has been so quiet on the user registration page. I spend a lot of time to fix this without spoiling the search engine friendly URL's. Whoops; new knowledge to me. It's not enough to have a fantastic site up and running; the URLs has to say something about the topic on the page - mostly to please the search engines, and thereby surfers.

I have also surfed the net to find good places to place and ask for incoming links. That wasn't easy. I decided, that there must be others like my self, so I created a quiz and trivia directory on Quizindex.com. I will try to make this the ultimate overview of online quiz and trivia resources. Just one problem though... I now have to maintain to websites;-)

Where are all the quiz fans?

1st-Quiz.com has been online for a few months now. I have now learned that I have to make friends to have some peers visit the site. A lot of friends!

Some of my friends told me, that the most important friend I could have, was Google. Well I guess I knew that in some way - but I didn't quite realize how difficult it would be to have some users use the quiz community. So I have now started making friends.

I have read what is the most common knowledge on how to optimize a website, so that my search engine friends also understand what the site is all about. I found that i made some very stupid mistakes in the way I published my pages. I have now started to fix that.

Also; I have now started to make some online friends on blogs and other fora. That is fun and giving - on a human level i mean:-)

Let you know, when my network of friends hit the site in a notice worthy maner.
